how to prepare for your boudoir session
You did it! You booked your boudoir session.
You are probably experiencing a lot of emotions right now—excitement, empowerment, and a wee bit of nervousness.
But fear not! You are in good hands. I put together this guide to help prepare you for your boudoir session. If you have any lingering questions or concerns, please let me know.
setting the tone
First and foremost, please be aware that my goal is for you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible. This includes creating a safe space for you. I will never touch you without your permission first. If you ever feel even an ounce of discomfort during our session, please speak up.
leading up to your session
Choose 3-5 outfits and remember to remove any noticeable tags!
Consider bringing accessories. Accessories can include everything from jewelry, robes, veils, wedding rings, knee-high socks, oversized sweaters, and even PG adult toys like blindfolds if you would like! If you need help styling, please let me know. I am happy to assist.
Moisturize and prep your body in whatever way makes you feel the most beautiful.
Please do not use self-tanner. We want to avoid streaky and unnatural skin tones.
Drink lots of water.
Fill out our Boudoir Client In-take Questionnaire.
If you have a preference for a type of music, please let me know so I can set the mood for you!
the day of your session
Please arrive fresh-faced with no makeup.
Ensure your hair is dry and has minimal products in it.
Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid impressions on the skin.
Remember to pack the essentials for your session—including your outfits, accessories, lotion, and anything else that will make you feel confident!
during your session
No need to prepare or sweat over what to do! I will guide and direct you throughout your session.
after your session
I know you are excited to see your badass self on film, which is why you can expect sneak peeks within 24 hours of your session. We will schedule your gallery reveal presentation about 2-3 weeks after your session.
